China Fiberglass Co., Ltd. announced on October 10th that its new production base located in the US is soon to be on the schedule. The project will be carried out by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jushi Group, the biggest glass fiber provider in the world. But the announcement didn't disclose investment and construction details but declared all these will not be decided until the pre-assessment work is complete.
The company has been severely accused of dumping in its traditional oversea markets like EU, India and Turkey, from where it was imposed on heavy anti-dumping tax. Consequently, new market exploration has long been at the core of its international strategy. "Arising trade barrier and protectionism accelerated our step to new oversea market." Jushi once commented. "We will expand our distribution network to more emerging markets like South America, North Africa, Russia and Australia."
Some analysts believe the new American facility verified such transfer of focus, or very likely it may serve as an access board.
