Aerospace Research Institute of Special Material and Process Technology was established On June 7th, 2002, whose code name is given as 306 Institute of China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation. In 2004, 306 Institute is official approved as China aerospace science and industry corporation special materials and technology research center. The research area includes special metal materials, nonmetal materials and composite materials, the new process development, production, testing, with advanced composite technology system from research, developing, designing, manufacturing to management. Aerospace Research Institute of Special Material and Process Technology possesses plenty of laboratories in different research directions. Microwave darkroom, production workshops, autoclaves, various sizes of hot-press machines, ovens, spinning machines, RTM equipments, electricity property testing system, and nondestructive inspection equipment are for production, testing and inspection, and physical, chemical and mechanical properties are investigated by specific apparatuses.
