Zaoqiang Industrial Park was founded in 1998, In 2000,it was named “China FRP Industry Base County” by China Composites Industry Association. In 2004, it was awarded “National FRP Materials Industry Base” and “National Productivity Promotion Center FRP Industry” by the National ministry of Science and Technology. In 2006, it was approved Industrial Park by the provincial government of Hebei Province. In March, 2010, Hebei Provincial People's Government approved the park planning area from 3.25 square kilometers to 12 square kilometers. Zaoqiang known as "FRP town", is one of three FRP bases. Products are widely manufactured with new materials such as carbon fiber, vacuum and other new technology. Some products are applied in aerospace, military and other industries.
